This training event will be in-person at the University of Sheffield, UK. Featuring a week-long program of linked half and full day hands-on workshops aimed at training biomolecular scientists in current methodologies and tools, this is a perfect introduction for those fairly new to the field of biomolecular simulation.
Monday (PM): Registration; Python and Unix bootcamp.
Tuesday: Setting up and analysing molecular dynamics simulation of proteins
Wednesday: Extension to molecular dynamics simulation of protein-ligand complexes
Thursday: Extension to membrane protein simulations including coarse graining; extension to nucleic acid simulations.
Friday (AM): Applications of machine learning to simulation data analysis
The course fee is £100.00 (includes lunches and refreshments each day). Participants will need to arrange their own accommodation.
We ask that all participants bring their own laptop for use during the workshop. You will need to be able to access the internet by wifi and use a web browser.
