Event Date/s: From Monday 25 March 2013
To Wednesday 27 March 2013
The second annual meeting of CCP-BioSim will be held at the Engineering and Science Learning Centre, University of Nottingham, from Monday 25th to Wednesday 27th March 2013. The aim is to provide a forum where everyone interested in applying biomolecular simulation techniques to their work – not just experts - can get practical information to enhance their research.
We are grateful for a contribution from MGMS towards supporting student attendance at the meeting, details below.
The following invited speakers have confirmed their attendance.
* Alessio Ciulli, School of Chemistry, University of Cambridge
* Gianni De Fabritiis, Computational Biophysical Laboratory, Universitat Pompeu Fabra
* Philippe Hünenberger, ETH Zürich
* Ruth Nussinov, School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University and National Cancer Institute
* Lars Schaefer, Computational Biophysical Chemistry group, University of Frankfurt
* Nigel Scrutton, Manchester Institute of Biotechnology
* Joanna Trylska, Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling, University of Warsaw
Registration opens up from 11 am on Monday 25th March, with the first talk starting at 2pm. The meeting will end at around 2 pm on Wednesday 27th March.
A detailed schedule is available here.
The conference will take place in the new Engineering and Science Learning Centre (ESLC) on the University Park campus at the University of Nottingham, NG7 2RD.
To register, go to our registration site (you will need to register with the Event Booking site first). The registration fee is £50 for students and £75 for academics/others, and can be paid through the registration site. It includes the conference dinner on Tuesday 26th.
